Aldous is known as the One Punch Man of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. His story accounts that he is the noble guard of the Minoan Labyrinth along with some mercenaries. The Minoan Kingdom is abundant in wealth thanks to its land which is rich with jade.
The charm of the Kingdom’s gems became the people’s obsession that even the mercenaries guarding the labyrinth became corrupt and left their posts. Greed has taken over most of them. It was only Aldous who chose to remain as the Labyrinth’s faithful guard.
The gods eventually brought judgment to their lands. Light and dark powers showered chaos on the entire Minoan Kingdom and even Aldous can’t evade it. Nearing death, Aldous started feeling a bizarre transformation in his body after the two energy fluxes collided. Long and black scales started to grow on his skin making him impenetrable to most attacks and his arm started to enlarge making his punches horrifyingly powerful.
When the chaos was over, the Minoan Labyrinth was sealed by an unexplainable mystical force. The few surviving minotaurs, including Aldous, decided to continue guarding the mysterious maze. News about this event has reached the Abyssal Kingdom. This prompted Selena to bring her army of Abyssal demons to harness its power. A large-scale war is about to break out in the region.
Aldous Overview
Aldous is Mobile Legends’ fearsome boogeyman because of his exceptional vision, flight capability and most of all—his ultra-powerful punch. Once this hero survives his humble beginnings while amassing a great stack of power in the early game, anyone that opposes him won’t feel comfortable being alone anymore. Like Liam Neeson’s famous line in the movie Taken, he will look for you, he will find you and he will kill you.
This guide will be based on the Global Top 1 Player, I. We’ll tackle what worked well for him in his long experience of using Aldous which made him the top player of this hero. We will elaborate on the best build, emblem and spell that are effective to use for Aldous based on his gameplay.

Skills
After every two attacks from Aldous, on his next basic attack, he gains a shield that is equivalent to 500 + 3 x Soul Steal stack count.
This lasts for 3 seconds and can only be activated every 5 seconds. It’s capable of activating Lifesteal and Attack Effect.
Aldous releases his inner strength to have a powerful blow in his Basic Attack. This deals 200 + 100% Total Physical Attack Damage.
Every successful kill will give him a stack of “Soul Steal”. Aldous gets 2 points if it’s a minion or creep and 10 points if he eliminates a hero. He gets additional permanent damage of 6 per stack when using this skill.
Attack to creeps and minions is increased to 300%. When these non-hero units die near Aldous, he gets 2 extra stacks for his Soul Steal. This can trigger Physical Lifesteal and Attack Effects.
Aldous will be in defense mode where he’ll receive a 30% Damage Reduction and 20% additional Movement Speed for 2 seconds.
This can be canceled manually by the player as well. Upon explosion, this can deal 100 + 20% Total Physical Attack Damage up to 200 + 40% Total Physical Attack Damage. This has an Area of Effect that can stun the enemies for 0.5 – 1 second depending on the defense stance length.
Aldous will have 5-second visibility to all enemies. This will allow Aldous to select an enemy hero and then dash toward it. When the target enemy gets hit, it will receive 450 Physical Damage + 10% of the enemy’s maximum HP.
This can also knock back the enemy for 1 second. As Aldous charges, he can interrupt the enemy’s Arrival or Recall.

Least Priority – Second Skill: Explosion
Aldous Combo
First Combo:
Ultimate Skill + First Skill + Basic Attack + First Skill + Basic Attack + Second Skill + Basic Attack
In the combo above, make sure to press First Skill while in mid-air so that you’ll have a powerful basic attack upon landing. By the time you land, the cooldown of your First Skill should be over already and you can immediately use it again. There’s a good chance that you’ll kill the enemy if it’s a squishy hero. If the enemy manages to survive, execute Second Skill to continue the fight and stun the enemy.
Second Combo:
First Skill + Basic Attack + Second Skill + Basic Attack + First Skill+ Basic Attack + Ultimate Skill + Basic Attack + Second Skill + Basic Attack
This combo is a good fit when starting a one-on-one fight against a weaker enemy. When it tries to escape with a little HP left, that’s the only time you chase it with your Ultimate Skill to secure the kill.
Fighting Strategy
Late bloomer. Like some Mobile Legends heroes, Aldous is a late bloomer. Perhaps the latest bloomer of them all considering it takes 500 stacks for him to fully blossom. So early in the game, focus on harvesting the most amount of souls you can from minions and creeps. Avoid engaging in a one-on-one fight since you don’t have a large enough stack to ensure victory.
Pokemon. Become a poking monster to melee enemies using your first and second skills. The moment you have a good amount of stack plus a faster movement speed, stronger defense and stun—you’ll be hard to beat in a one-on-one battle. When your enemy gives up and tries to head back home, that’s when the flying monster appears to chase it to death. Even if the enemy runs to the tower, your second skill is resistant enough for you to survive its attacks.
Skill Tips
First Skill. Aldous’ stacked damage can’t get critical because that would literally make him an Over Powered Meta. His buffed-up damage applies to towers so pushing in the late part of the game would be easy for him.
Ultimate Skill. Prioritize targeting Marksman heroes with your ultimate even if their life is full because they’re the most damaging but easy to kill. Your ultimate skill is not just good for attacking but for escaping death as well. Use it to escape when you have little life and don’t have an active Flicker yet.
Aldous FYI Checklist
- Khufra’s bouncing ball mode can knock you up when using your first skill.
- Natalia’s smoke makes her immune to your first skill because it’s categorized as a Basic Attack.
- Don’t expect to hit Akai with your first skill while spinning because it’s a melee attack.
- Helcurt can’t silence your ultimate skill.
- Passing by on Khurfra’s ball mode won’t block your flying.
- Franco can’t hook you while on a flight but Kaja can catch you with his rope.
- Flying to Angela will make you change your direction if she suddenly attached herself to an ally. After getting caught in Diggie’s trap, you can fly to escape.
- Unlike Diggie, Silvanna’s chain can stop you from flying but it can’t catch you with her chain while flying.
- Passing by Grock’s wall won’t block your flight but if he raises the wall to your exact location during a flight, it will cancel it.
