Gord is the Professor of the Mystics of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. He is a brilliant wizard who was on the cusp of greatness, but he was ultimately undone by his own arrogance. He mixed ancient sorcery into the process of practicing arcane arts, which led to him being possessed by the Demons. It was only through the intervention of Elward, the chief wizard, that Gord was able to be saved.
The incident left Gord scarred both physically and mentally. His body was permanently damaged, and he was unable to reach the heights of power that he once aspired to. However, Gord found a new purpose in life as a teacher at the Magic Academy. He vowed to pass on his knowledge and experience to his students so that they would not make the same mistakes that he did.
Gord is a strict and demanding teacher, but he is also fair and compassionate. He wants his students to succeed, and he is willing to do whatever it takes to help them achieve their goals. He is a complex and fascinating character, and he is a valuable asset to the Magic Academy.

Battle Spell
This spell is currently used by the Global Top 1 Gord player of Mobile Legends. It will allow Gord to improve his survivability and chase ability with its instant teleportation. On top of that, Gord can Flicker while his Ultimate Skill is active. This means that you can dash out when an enemy is getting close to you as you hit it with your beam. This can also be used to chase an enemy who is running away from the range of your beam.
This is another good option for Gord if your focus is on offense. This battle spell will allow Gord to eliminate an enemy who managed to escape his attacks. This can also help Gord survive because of its knockback feature that pushes away an enemy that managed to get close to him.

Gord Combo
First Combo:
First Skill + Second Skill
This is the recommended combo when you don’t have your Ultimate Skill yet. You can throw the orb from a safe distance and if you’re lucky to hit your target, rush in to attack it with your Second Skill. This will allow you to make the most damage out of your second skill since your immobilized target will get a full hit.
Second Combo:
First Skill + Second Skill + Ultimate Skill
This is the same combo as above but with the Ultimate Skill added. The Slow Effect of the Second Skill combined with the Slow Effect of the Ultimate Skill will make it hard for the target to escape.
These are just two of the most common combos recommended but you don’t always have to strictly follow it. There are times when casting the First Skill and Ultimate Skill is enough because the target has little HP left. Tailor your attacks based on the situation.
Fighting Strategy
Poke. Gord’s long-range attacks make him a great poke hero. With some practice, you will learn how to hit a moving target with his First Skill. Damage your target with your First and Second Skill and then move back out until the cooldown of your skills are over. If your target has an HP that is nearly half already, repeat the same combo but add the Ultimate Skill in the end to kill it.
Positioning. As a mage, Gord relies on his abilities to deal damage. Position yourself at a safe distance from enemies, preferably in the backline, to maximize your damage output while minimizing the risk of being targeted.
Farm. As a mage, Gord benefits from having high levels and gold. Focus on farming and last-hitting minions to accumulate gold and experience. Clearing jungle camps when possible can also give you an additional boost.
Survive. When joining some allies to ambush an enemy in their jungle, always wait for the fighter or tank or check the bushes before getting near one because an assassin might be waiting to take you down since you’re a squishy hero. Keep an eye on the minimap and maintain good vision control by placing wards. This will help you avoid ganks and be aware of potential threats, allowing you to position yourself accordingly and make better decisions.
Team Play
Roam. Since you’re a mage hero who is assigned to the middle of the map, it will be quicker for you to visit the top and bottom lanes. The Global Top 1 Gord player selected the Rapid Boots to be able to move faster and help the allies quicker. Always check the map and be on guard for a potential conflict so you can respond immediately.
Optimize. Gord’s Ultimate Skill, Mystic Gush, summons a powerful laser beam that deals massive damage in a straight line. It can pierce through multiple enemies, making it deadly in team fights. Look for opportunities to use it when enemies are grouped together or during clashes. Gord’s First Skill and Second Skill has an Area of Effect as well. Make the most out of it by targeting the most number of enemies you can hit.
Team Fight. In team fights, position yourself at a safe distance, preferably behind your tank or front-line heroes. Look for opportunities to land your Mystic Injunction on multiple enemies, and use your other abilities to provide support and damage from a distance.
