Stick War: Legacy Gameplay

Stick War: Legacy is a strategy game where the players can build a large army and conquer the base of an enemy. Every game starts with mining gold to be able to afford to hire different types of warriors to join your army. The default units in the game are Miners, Clubmen, Swordwraths, Archidons, Speartons, Magikills and Giants. Players can unlock each of these units as the level goes higher.

The game difficulty has three categories: NORMAL, HARD and INSANE. Earn a large number of diamonds by finishing each category. Use the diamonds in the shop to buy character skins which will add more features to every unit.

Special units like Golden Spearton, Meric, The Elite, Golden Archidon and even various types of Zombies are also available in the SHOP. Use them to help you in one of your fights. The shop offers more items that can help you during battle. Example: Miner Hustle will increase the miners’ mining speed. Spearton Madness will make the Speartons throw their spears and deal double damage.

Game Modes

Classic. The goal in this mode is to destroy the statue of an enemy country in every stage. Once you reach the final stage, you need to beat the monstrous boss after destroying the statue. There’s a limit on what units you can use in the early part of the game. You can unlock more as you move up in level.

Missions.  The player gets weekly missions every month. This gives another opportunity to earn diamonds. The missions have different tier levels and there are random rules applied in each game.

Tournament. This is where you enter a competition to fight different fictional players. The players are actually bots designed with unique personalities. It gives a feeling that it’s a competition with real people. You climb up the ranking ladder in every win until you reach the final round. If you win the tournament, you’ll receive a good sum of diamonds as a reward.

Endless Deads. It starts with a story about a small group of soldiers led by the Spearton Atreyos. They were unexpectedly attacked by a few zombies which led to the death of their Magikill. They managed to defeat the zombies but more are coming so they need to prepare themselves. For a good chance of survival, the player needs to keep growing the army. The goal is this mode is to survive as many waves of zombies as you can like the survival mode of Plants vs Zombies.

Stick War: Legacy Tips & Tricks

Gold. Focus on maximizing the number of miners in every stage. Having a continuous supply of gold will make it faster for you to recruit units and enlarge your army. There should be 8 miners total in Campaign mode but it varies in other modes. Once you reach that, all you have to worry about is the recruitment of your fighters. In short, more gold means more fighters.

Combination. Experiment with what would be an effective mix of fighters you should use to win every game. I found it very effective to use a few Speartons backed up by several Archidons. The Speartons will serve as your tanks because they’re very robust while the Archers will deal continuous heavy damage.

Upgrade. Be careful when picking what to upgrade because a wrong pick could make it hard for you to finish a level. After several tests, I recommended skipping the upgrade for Swordwrath and focusing on upgrading the Miners, Archidons and Speartons. The Magikill and Giant are expensive, take a long time to summon and take a large chunk of the population.

Special Moves

Control. This is the part that will make it easy for you to finish each game. I made the mistake of disregarding this feature so it was too difficult for me to finish the late stages of the campaign. This feature is best used the moment to unlock the Spearton. Have the enemies chase your controlled Spearton near their base to buy time so they won’t attack your base. Let the Spearton circle around to avoid the attacks. After you’ve built a large army you can start attacking the enemy base.

Stick War: Legacy technique to beat the final boss
Stick War: Legacy Final Boss

Guerilla. The moment you get an advantage early in the game, launch an attack on the enemy’s base so it won’t be able to mine gold. If their Castle Archidons come out, fall back and wait for the enemy miners and soldiers to come out again. Before they can even mine, launch an attack to force them to retreat again and never get the chance to mine gold. You should be increasing your units as you’re doing this step. When your army is large enough, launch an all-out war.

Final Boss. With the right technique, it’s easy to beat the biggest boss in the last part of the campaign. The trick is simple, control some of the Speartons to move behind it so they can attack its back. This will make the giant turn around to attack those who are attacking it from behind. Afterward, it will attack those in front of him again. Because of this, the giant will stay in one spot instead of moving forward to your statue. Controlling the Speartons to attack it with spears will deal huge damage to it as well. You can deal greater damage if it’s attacked from behind.

Intro Video Dialogue

In a world called Inamorta, you’re surrounded by discriminate nations devoted to their individual technology and struggle for dominance. Each society has developed its own unique way of waging war.

Stick War: Legacy Introduction Story

Proud of their unique craft, they have become obsessed to the point of worship, turning weapons into religion. Each believes that their way of life is the only way, and are dedicated to teaching their policies to all other nations through what their leaders claim as divine intervention, or as you will know it… war.

The others are known as: “Archidons,” the way of the archer, “Swordwrath,” the way of the sword, “Magikill,” the way of the mage and “Spearton,” the way of the spear.

You are the leader of the nation called “Order”.  Your way is of peace and of knowledge. Your people do not worship their weapons as gods. This makes you a mark for infiltration by the surrounding nations. Your only chance to defend is to attack first and get the technology from each nation along the way.
